Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 16 September 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using CareQ, you agree to these terms. If you are using CareQ on behalf of a hospital or clinic, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of services

CareQ is a queue management and patient-flow platform for hospitals and clinics. It provides real-time queue tracking, wait-time estimates, waiting-room display boards, notifications via SMS, WhatsApp and browser push, and operational analytics. CareQ is available as a hosted service or deployed within a customer's own environment.

3. Use of service

CareQ must be used in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that patients and staff are informed about the data collected through CareQ, including ticket numbers, queue positions, estimated wait times and contact-channel details used for notifications.

  • —You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell access to CareQ.
  • —You may not use CareQ to process data outside the scope described in your deployment agreement.
  • —You are responsible for the security of staff credentials and single sign-on configuration within your organisation.

4. Patient and staff responsibilities

CareQ uses ticket numbers rather than names on all public-facing displays. Patients interact with the system through a link sent to their phone, or through the waiting-room display. Staff use the staff console to call patients, update queue positions and manage departments. Neither patients nor staff are required to create accounts.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep CareQ running at all times. Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance. Because CareQ operates in real time, short interruptions are possible; the staff console is designed to continue operating locally and sync when the connection is restored.

6. Intellectual property

CareQ and its underlying software remain the property of CareQ. You retain full ownership of your queue data and any hospital information you integrate with. You may export your data at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

CareQ provides wait-time estimates and queue management tools to support hospital operations, but it does not make clinical decisions. Wait-time estimates are projections based on current conditions and are shown as ranges rather than precise values. CareQ is not liable for operational outcomes that depend on decisions made by hospital staff.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are communicated in advance. You may stop using CareQ at any time. Upon termination, your data is retained for a short period to allow export and then deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
